Kids & Family — Redeem Church

Kids & Family

If your kids don't love it, you won't be back. We get it.

For most parents, this is the whole decision. So here's exactly how we keep your kids safe, what they'll actually do while you're in the service, and why they'll be asking to come back by Tuesday.

Safety isn't a feature. It's the foundation.

Every environment, every Sunday, no exceptions.

Screened volunteers
Every Redeem Kids leader passes a national background check and in-person training before serving.
Matching-tag check-in
Your child gets a coded tag and you keep the match. Only the matching tag picks them up — no exceptions.
Secured hallways
Kids areas are behind check-in, with hall monitors present the entire service.
Instant parent alerts
If your child needs you, we text you immediately. You're never more than a few steps away.

What your kids will experience

Birth – Age 5

Pre-School

High-energy worship, a Bible story told at their level, crafts they'll shove in your hands on the way out, and play built around one simple truth each week.

K – 5th Grade

Elementary

High-energy worship, games, small groups with consistent leaders who know their name, and Bible teaching that connects to real life — school, friends, and big feelings.

First-day jitters? Our leaders are pros at goodbye tears. Most kids settle in within minutes — and we'll text you if they don't.

6th – 12th Grade

Students

Authentic worship, engaging teaching, small groups led by consistent leaders who care about them, and a place to build real friendships while discovering how God's Word applies to everyday life: school, relationships, challenges, and purpose.

Age-appropriate teachings — students build a relationship, not just attendance.

Your first check-in, step by step

  1. Head to the First-Time Family desk

It's marked and right inside the main doors. A team member walks you through everything — about five minutes total.

  2. Get your matching tags

Your child wears one, you keep the other. Allergies and special needs go into the system so every leader knows.

  3. Walk them in together

We'll take you right to their room, introduce you to their leaders, and show you exactly where pickup happens.

What to Expect on a Sunday

Walking into a new church can feel like a big step. Here's a look at what a Sunday at Redeem is like, so you can arrive knowing exactly what's ahead — no surprises, no pressure.

Come As You Are

A Genuine Welcome

From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you'll find people glad you came. Our welcome team can point you toward seating, coffee, and kids check-in — and if you'd rather slip in quietly and find a seat in the back, that's perfectly fine too. Dress is casual; come however you're comfortable.

Singing Together

Worship That Points to Jesus

We begin our gatherings by singing together — a mix of modern worship songs and older hymns, all chosen to fix our eyes on who God is and what He's done. Whether you sing along or simply take it in, this time is for lifting our attention above the week behind us.

Pastor teaching from an open Bible

Rooted in Scripture

Teaching Straight from the Bible

Each week, the message walks through a passage of Scripture — explaining what it says, what it means, and how it speaks into real life today. You don't need any church background to follow along; bring your questions, and bring a Bible if you have one (we'll have the text on screen either way).

For Every Age

A Safe Place for Your Kids

Redeem Kids offers a secure, fun environment where children hear the same good news at their own level. Every volunteer is background-checked, check-in is quick and simple, and our team will walk you through it your first time. Prefer to keep your little ones with you in the service? Wiggles and noise are welcome.

More Than a Service

People Worth Knowing

Church was never meant to be an hour on Sunday and nothing more. Stick around after the service for coffee and conversation, or stop by the Connect table to ask questions and learn about groups, serving, and next steps — whenever you're ready. There's no fast track and no pressure; we're just glad you're here.
